The Consulate General of Mexico at Sacramento announces that on Thursday, November 18 and Friday 19, 2010, between 7:00 and 8:30 pm, it will be offering personalized counseling to people who require guidance about their home mortgage at the Consulate facilities, located on 1010, Eight Street, downtown Sacramento.Then, on Saturday, November 20, 2010, it will host “Abriendo las Puertas de su Hogar (Opening Your Home Doors)” —a program meant to provide assistance to people who are facing home foreclosure to obtain home loan modifications.
There will be mortgage department representatives from various banks and lending institutions —the goal is to let people know the alternatives available to them as they face a potential foreclosure.
On Monday, November 22nd and Tuesday 23rd the same service will be offered in the communities of Yuba City, Stockton and Modesto.
All the services offered during these events are totally free of charge.
