SJCHCC boardmember arrested for tax evasion

The State Insurance Commissioner office announced this week the arrests of Stockton’s Shadows Wine Bar & Lounge and Bella’s Bridal Shop owners, Sonia and Alfredo Casas, on warrants for 13 felony counts including insurance premium fraud, filing false reports with the Employment Development Department (EDD) and failure to withhold or remit unemployment taxes.
