Stockton, CA / Bilingual Weekly

The current President of the Eureka, CA. College of the Redwoods has been selected as the new San Joaquin Delta College College top executive.

SJDC trustees voted unanimously to name Dr. Jeff Marsee to lead the 20,000-student community college, the largest between Fresno and Sacramento.
He has resigned to his current post and is scheduled to take the helm of SJDC on May 1, 2011.

Marsee contract calls for a 3-year tenure worth $235,768 per annum, some $40K more than his predecessor, Raul Rodriguez. In Eureka, Marrsee was credited with expanding the college and increasing its student population.
