STOCKTON, CA – Anna, a university graduate has has been looking for a job for over 6 months after being laid off “It’s been really difficult, I lost my house and had to move in with my mom.” she says.
She’s not the only one, with the County’s unemployment being one of the worst in the country.  State officials estimate San Joaquin County’s unemployment at 18.5 percent during the first quarter of 2011. Continue reading »
