The Citroën e-Mehari will be starting next spring gala brand new electric car. A clear nod to the legendary Citroën Mehari from the 20th century. Citroen surprised everyone a few years ago with the revolutionary C4 Cactus a vehicle that rescued a spirit that reminded us adapted to the demands of the 21st century to the mythical 2CV. Later French brand even more surprised with the prototype Citroen Cactus M Concept in which we were already with some winks to another French myth the Mehari.
Now the new Citroën e-Mehari returns to break schemes but already with a view to market very soon. It's a small convertible electric SUV: 3.81 meters long (less than the 3.94 C3) 1.87 meters wide and 1.65 meters tall with a practicable manually operated roof that can cover either all of the cockpit and the rear seats. Their generous height to the ground allow according to Citroen traversing the toughest terrain.
Aesthetically the Citroën e-Mehari will remind you of the C4 Cactus especially on the front. Many of its solutions rescue spirit endearing and simplicity of the Mehari as body plastic anti-tipper bows the shape of the doors or the rear bench slidable and foldable which leaves room for a boot that goes from 200 to 800 litres.
The Citroën is born e-Mehari which PSA will produce in France also in collaboration with the Group Bolloré a French investment and industrial holding that has in its range with the Blue Car a small electric car to be offered initially as part of the program of car sharing in Paris.
Personalization will play a major role in reaching customers with a wide variety of colors for the body roof and interior. We are here with a really striking cabin waterproof upholstery and evacuation holes if you want to wash it with a hose.
The Citroën e-Mehari will start his revolution in France in the spring of 2s016 for later more than likely the rest of the continent. Its reason for being? There is no doubt that it will be a very present car by Beach coasts and ranges of the car rental companies. Price for the time being we know but surely it will be more affordable than many of the electrical that we know today.
