One of the fastest cars today that are in production again has to go through workshop (not the first call to review that had to be submitted). We are talking about the Porsche 918 Spyder.
In this case it is a lesser evil. The problem in question is the wiring of one of the radiator fans which may rub with a piece of carbon fiber making them cut and generating a malfunction in the fan or even stop working.
The solution is simple and passes through the relocation of the wiring somewhere else to get him away from this piece of carbon fiber that can damage it. The affected units are made from the start of production until April 2015 for example in the US affecting 223 units.
Porsche is getting in touch with owners of affected units to proceed with the resolution of the problem at no cost.
