A few days to finalize a new edition of the Frankfurt Motor Show being held in the German city and begins to talk about what brands have been the winners of the room. And among them certainly Audi was the most surprised to tens of thousands of visitors from one of the most important fairs of the world automotive.

The two spectacular prototypes on display in Frankfurt have left us speechless. The first to be submitted was the Audi Sport quattro Concept a name in clear homage to the 30th anniversary of the famous all-wheel drive of the German mark.

In addition to the quattro Sport we have also seen for the first time Nanuk a sports coupe SUV (a curious mix) designed by Giugiaro and suggests a new line of design much more decanted to Italian designs recent German mark years. Let us know both models.

Starting with the spectacular drive in yellow the Audi Sport quattro Concept talk about a sports coupe with hybrid powertrain (petrol and electric motor) that provides a total output of 700 hp a top speed of 305 km / h ... a average consumption of 2.5 l / 100 km!

In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the legendary Audi Sport quattro the brand Inglostadt wanted to debut with his successor a vehicle that continues the saga of quattro all-wheel drive coupled to a vehicle with a performance of heart as what was the original model introduced in 1983. With 306 hp and a number of technical innovations this model was the true supercar of its time.

With a wheelbase of 2.78 m length reaches 4'6 m while the height unusually low stays in only 1.4 m. In the headlights daytime running lights envelopes along with the matrix LED headlamps (available later this year in the new Audi A8) give the Sport quattro Concept a sporty look.

The front is characterized by the novel hexagonal single-frame grille with a honeycomb sculptured as prepared for competition vehicles housing. The grill is part of the new Audi design philosophy and represents a first approach to the future design of sports models of the brand with the four rings.

The concept of sporty elegance is also transferred into the Audi Sport quattro concept a spacious cockpit where the precise lines and dark gray predominate all focused on offering the driver the best feeling with the car.

Returning to the mechanical data the system comprises a combustion engine V8 TFSI 4.0 double turbocharger yielding an output of 560 hp with an electric motor with disk shaped offers further 150 CV which may be independently used in city or offer a "plus" to the combustion engine. Undoubtedly the Sport quattro Concept will be a real racing car sports dress we hope will be a reality in the streets in no time.

And the second new more radical if anything is the Audi quattro concept nanuk. This innovative prototype combines the versatility of an SUV AWD with the dynamism of a sports high prestaciones.¿

Audi has developed the concept car nanuk closely with the designers of the Italian company Italdesign Giugiaro. The result is a sport for all situations and all types of surfaces: circuits highways roads winding unpaved terrain sand or snow. Quattro all-wheel drive is an essential part of success as well as the V10 TDI 5-liter engine with 544 hp and 1000 Nm of torque accelerates from 0-100 km / h in 3.8 segundos.¿

The Audi quattro Concept nanuk vacuum weighs 1900 kg and boasts an average fuel consumption of 7.8 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers a record of which are also holders innovative thermal management with separate cooling circuits and pump continuously adjustable oil.

The tires are shod with stunning 22-inch wheels brake discs are made of ceramic material reinforced with carbon fiber and the model has air suspension adaptive air suspension with electronically controlled dampers allowing the driver to adapt to three level height above the ground: the normal level 30 or 40 millimeters lower higher millimeters.

Highway for example the body is maintained at a low position even if the Audi quattro concept nanuk traveling at low speed is. When entering a gravel track the height increases automatically.

Also noteworthy is the integral management model that allows the rear wheels can rotate slightly in one direction or another to help maneuver and stabilize the vehicle.

All these innovative systems along with others like the design of doors that open in scissor or use of cameras replacing the mirrors give the nanuk Quattro concept of an aggressive nature at the same time spectacular as mentioned it is taking much interest in Frankfurt.
