The automaker SUV Land Rover is developing a range of new technologies to become implanted in vehicles could dramatically improve the level of driver visibility from inside the vehicle. What think if in a few years the cars offered a digital view of the land on which you are driving? Thanks to technology Bonnet Transparent (clear hood) of Land Rover this system could be a reality in no time.

This week in New York begins a new edition of its International Motor Show and as important to manufacturers like Land Rover SUV presenting their innovations market there is a guarantee of success. In fact the presentation of Transparent Bonnet system incorporated in the prototype Land Rover Discovery Vision Concept which can be seen exclusively in the American classroom is one of the most anticipated.

The Transparent Bonnet is based on a located on the front grille of the vehicle cameras that capture a projected on the Head-Up Display image (also known as HUD the system by which the driver receives all information on the windshield of the vehicle) creating a faithful reproduction of digital terrain through the hood and engine compartment setting new standards with regard to visual driver assistance. This technology also opens new possibilities in the field of SUVs to tackle extreme off-road or maneuvering in tight spaces conditions allowing the driver to experience an augmented reality to capture not only the land but also the angle and position of the front wheels.

The Land Rover Discovery Vision Concept which will be unveiled at premiere at the International Motor Show in New York is an escape of design and technology that represents the essence of a future family of SUVs Premium Multipurpose. From the dunes of the desert to the asphalt of the cities new technology driver assistance Land Rover will offer a safer advanced and fun to drive SUV of the future.
