The Peugeot 208 GTI 30th was created to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the 205 GTI and has been the Peugeot Sport racing department responsible for the development and assembly. They were to produce 500 units but seen demand have decided to stretch to 1000. All of them are numbered and with its nameplate. When they last 1000 will continue to exist but already with another name without plate. In Peugeot me they did not want to reveal but all indications are that it can be signed with a "By Peugeot Sport" or a logical and beautiful 208 GTI A. I do not think that dare to call Rallye since that name implies greater radicalism lightness economy and reduced comfort; see what happens.
Apart from the aesthetic or equipment changes the 30th features the latest evolution of the 1.6 THP which reaches the established power of 208 CV electronically 8 more and 30.8 mkg. It goes on sale for 26780 euros 3800 euros more expensive than the conventional GTI and will stop equipment. If you apply the plan PIVE the difference between one and another 1000 euros provided the subsidy is reduced (the GTI has PIVE) as the 1258 euros that Peugeot discount will apply to both.
