If you thought that muscle cars were the heritage of the United States you were wrong. To take that thought of the head the Italian handicraft manufacturer launches Puritalia 427 cabrio interpretation of such vehicles but with an Italian accent.
Under the guise of two-seater roadster-style BMW Z4 the Puritalia 427 hides a real typhoon under its hood. It is a 5 liter V8 Ford source and two versions; conventional with 445 hp and torque of 54 mkg or compressor supercharged 605 hp and a maximum torque of 65.3 mkg
The chassis is lightweight aluminum panels and carbon fiber composite elements allowing the scale to reduced weight of 1149 kilograms with a cast of great pesos for a sports car: 50 percent front and 50 percent behind. The suspensions have worked with care to ensure the best performance of this Italian Stallion being used adjustable Bilstein dampers and Eibach springs two of the most reputed manufacturers of these items.
This rear-wheel drive has a manual gearbox of six relations and limited slip differential to ensure all the fun and safety at the wheel slip. Only 427 units of this Puritalia 427 were built and the first 35 will launch special editions. The price of the Puritalia 427 will be about 180000 euros excluding taxes and what we can see on our roads in 2016.
