Far far away from the spotlight of Detroit Korea SsangYong has unveiled its best kept secret the Tivoli. This compact SUV has been designed for the European market which promises to position itself as the best selling brand.
The small SUV SsangYong expected where the brand has invested about 690 million euros for its development is here. Its final name is SsangYong Tivoli as we advance in November and aesthetically is in line with the concept XIV that we have seen in various international exhibitions in recent years.
Instead the SsangYong Tivoli as definitive model not debut any until next March when the 2015 Geneva Motor Show opens its doors. In terms of design the SsangYong Tivoli bears a strong resemblance to such a prototype. Its sharp lines allow you to go through any Japanese model of its kind with a marked waist lower ceiling on its rear area and tires of a different design from 16 to 18 inches in diameter.

As relates to mechanical SsangYong has decided to equip it with two engines one petrol and diesel identical cylinder 1.6 liter. The first is called e-XGi160 and develops 126 horsepower and can be mated to a manual transmission or six-speed automatic with the same number of relationships. It is expected that Diesel can also equip both but for now SsangYong has not revealed anything about this engine.
Finally the SsangYong Tivoli include standard safety systems such as ESP or LED daytime running lights and seven airbags. In entertainment will include a multimedia computer with connectivity for all types of smartphones and touch screen seven inches. For now know its price but will be available in our market this summer.
