Up with Education: A workshop for Latino Families to apply for scholarships

(bw) STOCKTON, CA – The San Joaquin County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SJCHCC), in partnership with the University of the Pacific and other community organizations, hosted the 9th Annual Student Financial Aid and College Awareness Workshop during the morning of Sunday, January 29th at the A.G. Spanos Hall at University of the Pacific in Stockton.
University of the Pacific names Simon Rowe to be next director of Brubeck Institute
University of the Pacific President Pamela A. Eibeck announced the appointment of Simon B. Rowe, DMA, as the next director of the Brubeck Institute. An established jazz pianist, Rowe is currently associate professor of music at Minnesota State University Moorhead, where he leads the Music Industry Program, teaches on the jazz studies faculty, and leads the Simon Rowe Trio. Pacific receives record number of students
More than 1,000 freshmen started the year at University of the Pacific for the 2010-2011 school year. That is nearly 150 more students than last year, making it Pacific’s largest freshman class ever. Continue reading
