(bw) STOCKTON, CA – The San Joaquin County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SJCHCC), in partnership with the University of the Pacific and other community organizations, hosted the 9th Annual Student Financial Aid and College Awareness Workshop during the morning of Sunday, January 29th at the A.G. Spanos Hall at University of the Pacific in Stockton.

Through interactive activities kids learned the importance of earning, spending, sharing and saving money.

San Joaquin County, CA – The twenty-fifth annual San Joaquin County Science Olympiad Competition for grades 3-6 was held at Ronald McNair High School on Saturday, April 2. Thirty-five schools and fifty-nine teams from across the county participated in twenty-four different science events throughout the one-day competition.
