Stockton-raised artist and UTPA (University of Texas-Pan American) Art Department Lecturer, Paul Valadez recently received the good news from two major museums regarding the acquisitions of his serigraph, Abuela which was printed in collaboration with The Serie Project in Austin, TX.
Both The El Museo del Barrio in New York City and The National Hispanic Cultural Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico are acquiring the artwork of Paul Valadez to be a part of their permanent museum collections.
Valadez created the print in collaboration with The Serie Project after being chosen
