Mazda 3 will incorporate in its mechanical range 1.5 Diesel engine of 105 HP SkyActiv-D a propeller which promises low emissions of CO2 (just 99 g/km). The month of December the mechanical range of Mazda 3 will be completed with the arrival of the 1.5 Diesel engine SkyActiv-D four-cylinder and 105 Horsepower. In essence this drive is the same as the originally mounted on the Mazda 2 and Mazda CX-3.
For the Mazda 3 1.5 SkyActiv-D 105 HP is declared a maximum torque of 2753 mkg available from 1600 rpm. Coupled to a gearbox manual 6 gears for the new Mazda 3 1.5 SkyActiv-D announces a low level of emissions of CO2 (just 99 g/km). Optional and depending on the type of body (5-door or 4-door Sportsedan) also will be available 6-speed automatic change SkyActiv-Drive.
Benefits declared for the Mazda 3 1.5 SkyActiv-D announce an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 11 seconds and a top speed of 187 mph.
Just like the 2.2 Diesel engine SkyActiv-D 150 HP in the case of this propeller 1.5 SkyActiv-D of the Mazda 3 also boasts an exceptionally low compression ratio (14 8:1) which allows to establish according to Mazda "new standards of efficiency and performance".
On the other hand the engine Diesel 1.5 SkyActiv-D Mazda 3 also mounted solenoid high dispersion nozzles allowing to minimize losses of cooling which in turn makes it easy to provide an optimum of injection. With all this the combustion efficiency improves while levels of refinement of the engine are also better.
We must remember that the Mazda 3 includes other equally interesting gasoline options. In this case from the least to the most potent are available the following engines: a 1.5 SkyActiv-G 100 HP a 2.0 SkyActiv-G of 120 HP and a 2.0 SkyActiv-G 165 HP.
The first country in which will be available the new Mazda 3 1.5 SkyActiv-D 105 HP will be United Kingdom which will be released by 18.895 pounds sterling (more than 26000 euros at current Exchange). In all likelihood this low-displacement diesel engine also will be available on the Spanish market.
