The Nissan GT-R present as we know it has been in the market since over half a decade now has received several updates and partial renovations that have established itself as a very high-flying sports and pave the way enough to lengthen lifetime even a full decade. However the plans of the Japanese go in another direction ...

... And it is that Nissan has confirmed that the successor to the GT-R is still under development and there decided anything about the fundamentals such as the chassis or the engine that will carry. It is also not confirmed whether it will be a hybrid or maintain a similar standard GT-R scheme and this is what we do in the air is still much to know. Therefore the GT-R will now receive at least one update but also come to Spain and that of course will increase power and improve the technical and performance specifications.

More claw NISMO

Late last May Nissan and NISMO presented more accessories for the GT-R including a titanium exhaust reducing the net weight and improves performance six-cylinder Japanese. Along with improvements like this Nissan will launch a new update that will refresh both the exterior and the mechanics of the standard GT-R and GT-R NISMO which will increase both power and decrease the power and weight. In the case of the GT-R NISMO which currently develops 600 horsepower the net figure could reach up to 650 hp a figure which in turn will be a good basis on which it will grant the successor of Japanese superexótico. How about?

Next GT-R hybrid and more than 700 horses

Expectations Asian brand happen because the next GT-R is very different from the current model a changing philosophy which in turn will be a necessary step substitute 370Z sports coupe and the new access being developed both push the current GT-R to the barrier at least 700 horses always talking about the base model.

The price increase will mean the new GT-R will be offset in principle a hybrid train will combine Twin Turbo V6 3.8 liter engine with at least two electric motors. Sufficient scheme for Nissan Motorsports International (NISMO) makes the new GT-R is a tough and stubborn opponent of the current number one McLaren P1 or laferrari.

A change of philosophy and aerodynamics

It is also true that the current GT-R will be transformed to make way for an exotic and aerodynamic and aesthetic that will resemble those of the above superexóticos lines. The metamorphosis that will permanently Skyline any silver lining we could find in the current model bye. Of course if we think of a 0-100 kph in just over 2.5 seconds among other figures it sounds more than understandable ... right?
