Three years waited. And ten to return to see him on stage. The Acura NSX is back and Acura luxury division -the Honda- minced no little girls. Hybrid four drivers with three electric and bi-turbo V6 gasoline engine. The result? More than 550 hp and the return of a Japanese legend.

I can assure you that is one of the products coming causing greater expectation for this Detroit while the model we least surprised in the end. ¿Contradictory? Not at all. Let them explain a bit my point.

Acura is they anticipate three (3) years this product with different evolutions of the same concept odd teaser to whet your mouth fans and even "they came" to change the layout engine transverse to longitudinal because they Japanese and who else they perfectionists. Ah I forgot made that decision 18 months of the effective launch.

So yes he was anxious to see it finished but little would be surprised being almost traced to the prototypes that we were seeing since I got this whole ordeal. So the soap opera ended with the return of the New Honda Acura NSX we will finally meet.

To regain sportier Acura chapter started 25 years ago with Ayrton Senna put in the development of the first Acura NSX the Japanese house really decided to catch up using the latest in terms of hypercars. And for more seasoning this year the brand returns to Formula 1 with McLaren.

The first and most important is that will for the first time American and non-Japanese production being manufactured at the plant that Honda has in Marysvile Ohio United States. Opposite the latest prototype presented in 2012 this definitive Hoda NSX is 80 mm longer and 25 wider testifying before centimeter the following dimensions: 4470 mm long 1940 mm wide and just 1215 mm high. The battle is at 2630 millimeters while the front and rear trails are 1655 and 1615 mm respectively.

The building has many interesting highlights. It uses carbon fiber in the base and roof of the body with aluminum castings in the structure in order to lose weight but also compromise the torsional rigidity. In the A-pillar for example a manufacturing process hitherto unpublished appears and that instead of stamping the steel this material is used but instead of a press they use a 3D printer.

A level of chassis carries all the suspension arms (independently on both axes) aluminum alloy while the remaining parts of both undercarriages are made of forged aluminum. The brakes are carbonocerámicos and run by Brembo account no less. The body panels meanwhile are made of aluminum and sheet molding composite (SMC).

Having reviewed this I think it became clear that Acura was looking for a lightweight but for now it is not stated how low it is. Tires are anything but small. It takes about Continental ContiSportContact in measure 245 / 35Z R19 front and 295 / 30Z R20 ago forged aluminum wheels what other material but that.

Doors inside is just as spectacular than out. While maintaining that typically ambient Honda without fanfare but always looking to do things differently the new Honda NSX welcomes us with purely and exclusively designed cockpit in the driver's head. Acura speaks of a carrier to give room to the pilot and after seeing it there is no doubt.

The seats are surround and center console make lucky to be sitting behind the wheel have maximum control and information as possible. The instrument is fully digital in TFT and behind the steering wheel rim two cams appear quite long aluminum as to pass the changes.

But enough of spin. A engines I said. There are four which as I said in the hanging of note three are electrical and thermal one. Them up for him. It is an impeller located longitudinally and Central-back position mounted to 75 V6 bi-turbo which is coupled to the rear axle by a sequential automatic transmission clutches nine two relationships.

Acura does not declare the displacement of this engine but its power: 550 hp. To this we must add the numbers that yield the three electric motors responsible for transforming the NSX in a hybrid which in turn move the front axle making it a model with four-wheel drive. By Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) working with torque vector control of the vehicle on both axles Acura promises a cornering performance that will leave this Japanese hypercar in the highest category.

The first electric motor is located between the engine and transmission delivering power to accelerate brake and passage of updates. The front axle in turn leads to the other two drivers who are responsible for moving the wheels providing immediate steering response and cornering through the use of torque.

Additionally the New Honda Acura NSX has four driving modes: Quiet Sport Sport + and Track. Each has specific settings on the engine transmission chassis response and engine sound. It also has a fifth adjustment the Launch function which adds the strength of the four engines to depart from standstill and they say the feeling that sheds is that of a Formula 1 casting a track. Can anyone invite me to check? It is in the name of science.
